Update your Vine app. You can do this by clicking on the ‘App Store’ icon on your phone and clicking on ‘Updates’, which is located in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on the ‘Update’ button next to Vine’s logo. Your phone will install the update automatically.

Now that you have the updated version of Vine, open up the Vine app and go to your profile. This can be done by clicking on the icon in the upper left corner and then clicking on ‘Profile’.

Once you reach your profile page, click on ‘Settings’. Settings is located under your profile picture and above any posts you have created.

Scroll down to ‘Your Content’ and click on it. You will be taken to a page that has two options.

Clicking on the icon next to ‘Posts are protected’ will ensure that only your followers can view your posts.

Clicking the icon next to ‘Sensitive posts’ will tell your followers that your posts may contain sensitive material.

When you press either of these icons, the Vine app will ask you to either ‘Cancel’ or ‘Mark’ your posts as private or sensitive. Click ‘Mark’.
